One of the common objections I hear from entrepreneurs about doing… anything… is about how everyone else is already doing it.

They won’t launch a podcast because there are a zillion entrepreneurial podcasts already. (Actually, the number is only in the mid six-digits, but I digress.)

They won’t write a book because there are so many books out there, and they say you are statistically likely to only sell a few hundred of them (even though you may need just ONE reader to get that next amazing 6-figure client).

They won’t put on a live in-person or virtual event because they’ve received invitations to register for 24 and participate in 5 over the past month alone.

I mean, Guy Kawasaki and Gary Vaynerchuk have a few words for you on these sentiments, if they are indeed yours.

Entrepreneurs will resist launching their lucrative virtual mastermind for a similar reason.

When I conducted a survey of entrepreneurs on the topic, I saw that several people who say they haven’t started a mastermind yet agree with this statement:

“There are so many masterminds already and I don’t see why mine would be anything special or unique enough to matter.”

Okay, yes, there are a lot of masterminds.

I’ve belonged to a whole bunch of them myself (all great coaches have coaches), and most of my own circle of influence run them, too.

However, I’ve already lost patience (the reason my wife Stephanie says I could never be a doctor – get it? HAHAHA) and I’m just going to say it:

The fact that “everyone else is doing it” is all the more reason you SHOULD.
