How time flies.
Just today, my team sent out the first of three standard reminders that go out to members of our Dream Business Mastermind and Coaching Program in the days leading up to our monthly calls.
It’s been a month since the last one already?!
Anyway, sending these reminders is something I literally pay to not have to think about.
They keep both me and Stephanie on the list so we get copies – it saves time vs. them having to ritually e-mail me just to say “got those reminders out like usual”.
Normally, when I get my reminder to book a Profit Seat for my own mastermind call, I mentally check it off in my mind (“cool, the reminder went out”), delete the e-mail, and grab a sandwich.
That sandwich I just had gave me some Extreme Motivation… to write a blog post about Extreme Motivation… let me tell you!
Now here’s the thing.
Something about THIS particular e-mail about THIS mastermind call made me pause.
On the second Tuesday of every month, at 1:00 pm Eastern / 10:00 am Pacific, we have our group Mastermind calls.
For one thing, it’s a great way to kick off my 3-day week.
But as I thought about this upcoming mastermind call, something stirred within me.
See, it’s funny.
I’d say about half of my members use every single 1:1 call they get as a member, attend every single mastermind coaching, and max out on their 911 calls – where others use a percentage of each.
A typical mix is to work with me individually on higher-end strategy that needs to stay confidential, while leveraging the group to test out ideas and ask questions where the whole class will benefit from the answer.
Some members treat the experience as more of a coaching program, where they mostly work privately with me (sometimes paying me for extra 1:1 calls), but only occasionally make it to mastermind calls.
Others are the heart and soul of every mastermind call, while they don’t really leverage too much actual coaching (and sometimes I think, come on!)
I get it… chaotic human beings… everyone’s different… wish they were all here 100% of the time on every mastermind call… not the hill I’m gonna die on, though.
Seeing the Profit Seats fill up for my mastermind call reminded me why I do this.
Part of it, for sure, is the opportunity to enjoy a one-to-many business model as one of my multiple streams of revenue.
What keeps me doing this, after 13 years and counting, is the difference it makes.
I’ve helped lots of people over the years.
But it’s seeing the progress members make over the years, the stories that continue to unfold (you can see even more here), and knowing my time in this life makes other lives happier, healthier, wealthier, and wonderful.
Aside from my children and grandchildren who I love dearly and have been enjoying spending so much more time with since we sold the boat, it’s my legacy.
