Participation trophies convey the message that “we are all winners” – just for showing up.
They may have a place in kids sports, but let’s be clear, there are no participation trophies for choosing to become an entrepreneur.
Making the jump from the “security” of a job with direct deposit, health insurance, and paid vacation is to be applauded for sure.
After all, it takes a lot of courage to go out on your own.

- Create an amazing brand
- Consistently market your irresistible offer to the right audience
- Learn the difference between gross and net (see quote #10)
- Learn how to become an effective rainmaker – without cashflow, you have no business (see part #5)
