However, I knew, in my soul, I was a natural entrepreneur.

Truthfully, I kept imagining the day I would meet the Lord and He would ask me,

“Jim, why did you quit? What made you think it was supposed to be easy?”

But here’s the thing.

I never thought of myself as a quitter, and I wasn’t about to start now.

Even after months of not closing a new client, I told to get busy getting another appointment.

I would scold myself about how ridiculous it would be for me to quit now after already putting in so much effort.

Again, I’m no quitter.

If you are a person of faith, and struggle with holding yourself accountable, do what I did.

Imagine one day meeting God and Him asking you,

“Why did you give up? What made you think it was supposed to be easy?”

And then pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and keep moving forward.

Aside from the “you can do it” pep talk, there’s something else you can do.

It takes courage and a 100% belief in yourself that you will be successful.
