Way back when, back when I was the manager of a struggling bike shop, I remember a radio talk show host in Philadelphia who ended every show with this phrase:
“Tough times don’t last, tough people do!”
It was a kind of call to arms! I took it as, “Buck up, stop complaining, and get to work!”
Whether it was this call to arms or my youthful exuberance, I began to implement some creative marketing and business growth strategies that worked amazing well for the bike shop, and we did start to grow.
The lessons I learned from this experience have remained the foundation of my success – the more sluggish the economy gets, the faster my business grows!
That’s why I’ve decided to write this book at this time:
